Thats not what I said either. You seem to be intent on finding a strawman to attack here.

No that is pretty explicitly not what they said.
Many of the people claiming to be too liberal for the dems online were not really people, or at least not eligible US voters. They choose whichever perspective is most destabilizing at the moment and push that, sometimes switching accounts and sometimes not even bothering to do that. Theyll jump from Bernie to Trump to Stein and back to Trump without a second thought because they do not actually believe in the positions they are backing, only the chaos they can cause. Some of these people are unaffiliated trolls, some are self organized volunteers, some are paid call center workers and some are bots.
Up until a few weeks ago they were usually pretty meticulous about that sort of thing. Going forward…who knows.
And the elements arnt even the rare or valuable part, its the processing. Just be sure not to make Cuba’s mistake and put a damned expiration date on that lease.
Its just a half assed plan. His leverage all comes from being head of the executive branch of the richest and post powerful country on Earth. Making that institution dysfunctional and unpopular only weakens his position.
From what Ive seen Deepseek is particularly prone to hallucinating and is extremely suggestable. It just thought it knew what you wanted to hear and said that, then got confused trying to justify what it had said.
Oh yea, they did such a great job last time.
Yea I dont think anyone is going to enjoy the “find out” phase of this one. Maybe Putin, if he lives that long.
Most of the companies/ceos doing this over the past few weeks do know better. That’s why they didnt say anything earlier. The reason they would be publicly taking this stance now is that they either expect to be rewarded by the incoming administration, or they hope to avoid punitive retaliation.
You are ascribing a lot of human reasoning and emotion to corporate entities they they just dont have. Gratitude is not part of their decision making process. Instead, they might attempt to use past behavior to predict future behavior when evaluating an outlet for their marketing budget. They arnt going to prefer an outlet that occasionally burns advertisers, even if the benefited from it once.
DIdnt work out so great for Snowden either.
It is. At the very least it was illegal and unprofessional.
Well in this case it sounds like they executed a suicide bomber they could have arrested, which isnt great, but its not worse than slaughtering civilians.
In about 80 years global population growth should finish leveling out, at which point immigration will become a more difficult strategy for all but the most popular destinations. In the meantime, development only seems to be a barrier for importing huge numbers of low skilled labor, and thats mostly because many of the jobs were exported directly to them instead. A more developed globe has actually been a boon for anyone looking to import skilled labor.
It seems like its just ethno-nationalists freaking out. Capitalists have been tackling this problem with immigration for a long time.
But this came out of a public university in Colombia. Nobody ever suggested doing it for profit.
What does this have to do with capitalism?
Why? Everyone knows the Epoch Times is published by a politicized cult. But what exactly do you doubt here? Are you saying they are not launching crisis simulations? Or maybe that they dont actually face escalating pressure from Beijing? Is maybe the is quote inaccurate? What exactly is the question here, or is this just pointless sealioning?
Quite a coincidence.
